After the huge success of the beloved ‘Ice Ice Baby’ cardigan, which was also made with Durable Velvet, Dorine from Op de Haakwolk has designed another wonderfully soft cardigan using this cozy yarn. This time, it’s a short cardigan that can easily double as a jacket for those chilly spring days. Just like the Ice Ice Baby cardigan, this one can be customized to your own measurements! The sample pieces were made in colors 396 Lavender, 282 Light Blue, and 2137 Mint.

Durable Velvet

Our soft chenille yarn, Durable Velvet, has become an essential part of our collection. This ultra-cozy yarn is widely used for crocheting plushies but is also perfect for blankets, cushions, and even garments! Besides the six patterns shared above, you can find even more fun projects using Durable Velvet on our website durableyarn.com.

Durable Velvet is available in no less than 32 beautiful colors, allowing for endless combinations. Each ball contains 180 meters per 100 grams and can be used with a hook or needle size between 3mm and 5mm, depending on the project.
